CFMW MISSION STATEMENT
To support responsible economic growth in our region.
CFMW MANDATE
CFMW's mandate is to stimulate, participate in the lead, when appropriate:
- Community-based stratigic planning;
- Small enterprise training and development, and financial support, specifically through business intiatives and the Self Employment Program;
- Developing alternatives for Employment Insurance and Social Services recipients, specifically through the Self Employment Program;
- Coordinating, targeting and designing of training programs for employment for North Island workers and employers;
- Partnerships with Western Economic Diversification and other Federal Government departments, Provincial Government Ministries and other development groups to develop creative economic diversification solutions.

CFMW is a centre of excellence for supporting community economic development, entrepreneurship and capacity building in the North Island region.
